Over the past few months I have been having these strange daydreams. They are like videotapes of an affair which I could not previously remember having. It all happened 23 years ago in my first year of marriage. They are very detailed and contain certain facts (people and places) which really exist. The only problem is I did not remember any of this before a few months ago. If you had said I ever had an affair I would have laughed at you.
The whole very detailed story has been gradually coming back to me over about 3 months (rather like a TV series). Did this really happen? I have not been having any therapy to retrieve memories. It has just been spontaneous and I have been awake for all it.
